Reflecting on 10 Years of Cloud9: A Legacy 10 Years in the Making

December 2023 marks the culmination of Cloud9’s 10-year anniversary celebration, “10 Years of Cloud9: A Legacy 10 Years in the Making”. As we bid farewell to this monumental milestone, we’d like to reflect on the remarkable journey that has led us to where we are today.

Since our inception, Cloud9 has been committed to choosing excellence, pushing boundaries, and embracing innovation. From our first LCS trophy lift in 2013 to our tenth year at Worlds, we have relentlessly devoted ourselves to producing results that distinguish us from others.

In celebration of this year, we spotlighted our most iconic achievements and Cloud9 alumni across League of Legends, VALORANT, Counter-Strike, Super Smash Bros., and more. We released a special edition 10-year anniversary jersey and summer collection, harnessing the essence of past designs with a colorful twist for the summer! We even had the opportunity to connect with our fans across the coast and paint the crowds white and blue in Raleigh and Newark. From welcoming back familiar faces to entering new competitive titles, we surpassed expectations and built dominant rosters that excited fans, old and new.

Through it all, Cloud9’s success over the last decade would not have been possible without our fans and partners. The unwavering support from our community has been instrumental in shaping our legacy as the Home of Champions. As we look onwards to 2024, we can’t wait to share the exciting endeavors we have in store for you. Together, we will continue to raise the bar of what it means to be a global leader in esports.

The last 10 years have proven Cloud9’s resilience and dedication as a team. As we’ve nimbly adapted to an ever-changing environment, I am confident that we will continue to flourish in the next decade. The upcoming year of 2024 holds great promise and excitement as we anticipate new milestones, groundbreaking ventures, and more.
