KALA is a music creator and artist merging esports and music. As the first Canadian artist signed to SACRA MUSIC, a SONY MUSIC JAPAN sub-label specializing in anime, gaming, and digital entertainment, KALA is shaping the future of music in gaming. Active in esports since 2016, KALA joined Cloud9 in 2019 as a Team Manager, later transitioning into music to create original compositions for the brand. In 2025, KALA released “LOCK IN”, the official VALORANT Team Walkout song for Cloud9’s VCT Americas 2025 Season, blending digital and analog elements with a powerful chant to capture the intensity of competition. Based in Los Angeles and Japan, KALA continues to push boundaries, redefining music in esports and gaming culture worldwide.
