Cloud9 announces the departure of Jordan Zellsis Montemurro from the Counter-Strike Global Offensive roster. During his time with Cloud9, Zellsis helped the team advance past the New Challengers Stage at IEM Season XIII – Katowice Major 2019 and notch a 2nd-place finish at the ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational 2019. We want to thank Zellsis for his strong play and teamwork during these tournaments and we will follow his career with great interest, as we are certain many triumphs are ahead.

I still have a lot to learn as a player, but it was an honor to spend my first major with such an incredible group of players. Thank you to everyone at Cloud9 for giving me this opportunity and I plan on coming back bigger and better than ever.

Jordan Zellsis Montemurro

There’s no question that we asked a lot of Zellsis with these three tournaments, and he rose to the challenge. Even on the biggest stages, he remained level-headed and professional, traits that will be invaluable as his career progresses. We all wish him the best and look forward to our paths crossing again.

Jack Etienne, Cloud9 CEO & Owner

Thank you to Zellsis for taking the time to stand in for Cloud9. Although your time with the team was short, we are appreciative of all the effort you put in to help us compete at all of our tournaments over the past few months. Good luck and keep working hard!

Jonathan Tran, CS:GO Team Manager

With this move, we now set our sights on bringing aboard a fifth member to round out the roster, so keep a lookout on our social channels for updates to come. For more on this, as well as other #C9CSGO news, click the official team banner below or check out the official Cloud9 Discord.
