Cloud9 is thrilled to announce today the signing of Flávio Jukes Fernandes to the League of Legends roster as a Top Laner! If you’ve somehow missed what Jukes brings to the table, rest assured you’ll be able to see it in full force live in competition as a member of the C9FAM!

Jukes most recently competitively played for the Submarino Stars of the Brazilian Challenger Circuit, back in the first half of 2018. In June of 2018, Jukes retired from the competitive scene, but is now ready to bring his talent and love of the game to Cloud9!

I am really excited and honored to be part of the Cloud9 family. Seeing how passionate everyone is about the game, players and staff, makes me even more dedicated to improving my skills. I will work hard to always make you guys proud

Flávio Jukes Fernandes

The talent that Jukes brings to the Rift has been on full display for a while now, and we’re thrilled to be the ones to give him a home. His work ethic and passion for the game are going to be a perfect fit here, and we know he’s going to make an impact right away.

Jack Etienne, Cloud9 CEO & Owner

Jukes now enters the pool of talented League of Legends players housed at Cloud9, players who have led the team to being one game out of first place in LCS and sole possession of first place in LCS Academy. C9 Academy will be back in action on Thursday, taking on Team Liquid Academy, and Cloud9 will take on Golden Guardians in their first match of the weekend on Saturday.
