Announcing the Cloud9 Fates NA Qualifier, Presented by Red Bull

Cloud9 is thrilled to be kicking off 2021 by announcing the Cloud9 Fates NA Qualifier, presented by Red Bull! This Teamfight Tactics qualifier will run from January 29th through January 31st and will feature high stakes including a $5,000 prize pool, four slots up for grabs at Fates Qualifier 4, and qualifier points towards the TFT North American Regional Finals.

Participants will qualify via four different pools:

• Four players will join us from Liquid Fates Qualifier
• Two players will join us from the Giant Slayer Challenger Series
• Eight players will join us from the Team Liquid Open Qualifier Bracket
• Ten players will join us from Giant Slayer’s January 20th weekly ladder snapshot (correction from the previously stated January 27th snapshot)

We also want to encourage players to continue competing at their highest levels throughout the month as all the top players on the ladder, especially those in the top 25, will be considered as we fill out the participants, so stay on your toes and keep an eye on your inboxes for any communication from Cloud9!

Joining us for this incredible competition are casters Erik DoA Lonnquist and Dan Frodan Chou, as well as Cloud9’s very own Khalif Khroen Hashim as analyst! With nearly 30 years of esports experience between them, we can’t wait to see the insights they bring us during the qualifier.

We loved being a part of the Nebula NA Qualifiers last year, and we’re thrilled to again be hosting such an amazing TFT competition. This is going to be an exciting showcase of some of the best TFT players out there and we can’t wait to share it with the community.
