C9 x One Piece: Branding & Merchandise

Cloud9 developed a unique logo that seamlessly integrated our company's emblem with the iconic One Piece insignia. This co-branded logo was among the first of its kind in the esports industry, symbolizing a pioneering fusion of anime culture and competitive gaming. The merchandise developed drew inspiration from One Piece’s timeless themes and characters to create a merchandise line that felt nostalgic but fresh. When the new “Egghead Island” arc launched, the second collection captured the excitement of the arc, giving fans a way to connect with the evolving story in real-time.

C9 x One Piece: Events

Cloud9 extended the collaboration beyond merchandise by creating unique fan experiences. The first collection was showcased through a unique pop-up shop in Venice Beach, California. This pop-up featured themed freebies and a curated shopping experience. The second collection was brought to a major esports activation zone, 2024 League of Legends Championship Series Summer Finals, at YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California. The event included immersive installations tied to the "Egghead Island" arc, engaging esports fans and anime enthusiasts alike.
